Appel de conférences pour le colloque international « Neurocognition and Music Education. New Approaches for the 21st Century », Université fédérale du Ceará, Sobral (Brésil), 5-8 mai 2024.

« Since 2021, the Cognitive Psychology and Music Education Working Group of the Brazilian Music Education Association (ABEM) has emphasized the importance of the role of cognition and neuroscience in music education. It is understood that, through diverse partnerships, projects, discussions and actions can be realized that transcend the local perspective, creating networks able to enrich the field of Music and Music Education. The V CIEMS proposes an international meeting between the Cognition and Music Laboratory of the Federal University of Ceará Sobral Campus, the International Laboratory for Brain, Music and Sound Research – BRAMS at the Université de Montréal (Canada), at the Université de Toulouse Jean-Jaurès (France), Brain & Creativity Institute at the University of Southern California (USA) as well as, in national context, the Research Centre for Musical Performance and Psychology – NUPSIMUS at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and the Formative and Cognitive Processes in Music Education research group at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). »
