« The theme for this online mini-symposium will be “Horror in video game music and sound.” We are accepting proposals for paper presentations on various aspects of sound and music in video games with a preference of papers focusing on the concept of horror in video game music and sound. Interdisciplinary approaches are particularly encouraged. Papers will be twenty minutes in length followed by a ten-minute question and answer period. Proposals of no more than 500 words should be submitted as a single PDF file or Microsoft Word document (.doc, .docx) by March 18, 2024. Presenters will be notified of their acceptance into the program on March 29, 2024. Submissions will be reviewed anonymously, so please remove identifying information from the abstract itself. »
