« The Annual Plenary Conference of the Society for Musicology in Ireland (SMI) in 2022 will take place on 24-26 June, hosted by the Department of Music, University College Cork. The broad range of papers represents many areas of music, including composition, ethnomusicology, music theory and analysis, musicology, performance, popular music studies, music education, and sonic arts. Especially welcome are the participation of international colleagues, presenters from marginalised groups, and submissions from postgraduate students, early career researchers and music industry specialists. »
