Appel à contributions de la revue Journal of the International Alliance for Women in Music

« The Journal of the International Alliance for Women in Music invites article submissions for our September 2025 issue. The IAWM annual concert will take place this year in Cologne, Germany at St. Cecilia’s, the Romanesque church that houses the Schnütgen Museum of medieval art.

Inspired by the history of the church, which was originally a women’s convent named after the patron saint of musicians, composers, instrument makers, and poets, we invite articles on the broad topic of women in music in Europe, both historical and contemporary. We welcome articles from the fields of historical musicology, ethnomusicology, composition, performance, music education, music theory, sound studies, and beyond. »
