Appel de conférences pour le 10e colloque international « New Beethoven Research », Chicago, 13-14 novembre 2024.
« We are seeking proposals concerning new work connected with Beethoven. In recognition of the 200th anniversary of the premiere of the Ninth Symphony in 2024, we especially invite proposals having to do with this work in all its aspects. Presenters who did not give papers at the last New Beethoven Research Conference (No. 9) will be given preference. Talks accepted for the AMS conference itself may not also be read at this year’s NBR.
We invite submissions from musicologists, theorists, performers, and scholars from other relevant disciplines to submit proposals for individual papers, groups of papers, lecture/demonstrations, or lecture/performances. Papers and presentations should not exceed 30 minutes. Additionally, ten minutes will be allotted for discussion. »
