Appel de conférences pour la Rencontre annuelle de l’AMS – NYSSL Chapter, State University of New York, Potsdam, 12-13 avril 2024.
« We welcome proposals for 20-minute presentations on all areas of scholarship in music, in addition to proposals for panels or alternate format sessions. We also encourage proposals for a session of lightning talks consisting of five-minute research presentations on any topic (including work-in-progress).
Please use this submission form to submit proposals for all types of presentations. For 20-minute presentations and alternate format sessions, please share an abstract of no more than 250 words. For 5-minute lightning talks, please simply share the topic and a 2-3 sentence description. For proposals of full panels, please include a brief description of the panel, and then individual 250-word abstracts for all papers. The form will also ask you to indicate your name, affiliation, and contact information, as well as any unique tech and/or accessibility requirements. Graduate students who wish to be considered for the AMS-NYSSL Student Paper Prize should check the appropriate box on the form. The submission of an abstract presupposes that the proposer agrees to present the talk should the program committee accept it. Submissions will be accepted until February 1, 2024.
