« The Paleography for Music Research Workshop aims to equip participants with a broad understanding of paleography, codicology, text underlay, the creation of critical notes, and various forms of musical notation and scripts employed during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance in Europe and the Americas. These sessions will delve into the challenges faced by researchers when engaging with diverse primary sources and explore contemporary methods used in the development of critical editions of music. »
