« The Society for American Music is very pleased to announce a new research fellowship, the Latin American and LatinX Music Fellowship. This fellowship is awarded competitively to scholars, in any phase of their career, to support research on Latin American music. This includes research on/pertaining to South America, Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean, as well as representations of these culture areas in North America and around the world. The fellowship may be used for expenses associated with archival or ethnographic research, including but not limited to travel expenses, books, and media resources. »
