« The Opera Journal welcomes both long (8,000-11,000 words) and short (4,000-6,000 words) article submissions, as well as reviews of up to 3,000 words. Article submissions are encouraged to focus on one or more of the following areas. Historical/Theoretical/Analytical or Pedagogical/Practical/Dramaturgical. Critical and evaluative perspectives are encouraged. »
