Appel de conférences pour un colloque en honneur de Jonathan Bernard, University of Washington School of Music (Seattle), 17-18 juin 2022. 

« The conference coincides with Jonathan’s retirement from the university after 35 years of service ! We welcome proposals for short papers (20 minutes) that address topics related to any aspect of Jonathan’s wide scholarly output, including : Styles and genres that appear frequently in his writing (especially minimalism and progressive rock music), monumental composers that he has written about extensively (e.g. Bartók, Carter, Durand, Feldman, Ligeti, Messiaen, Monk, Reich, Varèse, Zappa). The conference will include a Friday evening concert featuring works by these composers, as well as the world premiere of a work commissioned for the occasion by composer Joël-François Durand. »
