Appel à contributions pour Handbook of Popular Music Methodologies, sous la dir. de Mikes Dines, Fiorenzo Palermo et Shara Rambarran.
« We are seeking expressions of interest from scholars whose research is focused on popular music to contribute towards a handbook that surveys the diversity of approaches in its study. Drawing upon up-to-date and newly emerging writing, this handbook aims to offer an authoritative overview and critique of popular music methodologies. As a guideline, please propose a chapter that will serve as a reference point on current scholarship in your area of popular music research, paying particular attention to newly established and emerging fields. The contribution should not merely constitute a summary of previous research, but should also be an in-depth investigation to cover genuinely new ground, while addressing scholars who require access to the current state of scholarship in your field. Each chapter will be, at the most, 7000 words long, including bibliographic references and footnotes. »
Date limite de soumission (résumé de 250 mots et une biographie à envoyer à m.dines-at-mdx.ac.uk et s.palermo-at-mdx.ac.uk) : 1er décembre 2021.
