Colloque « The Second Biennial International Conference of Music and the University », University of Surrey, Guildford, UK, 4-6 juillet 2024.

« This is the second biennial conference of Music and the University. The first, held in July 2022, attracted over 60 participants from 22 different countries spanning 6 different continents arranged in 19 thematic sessions, and raised a plethora of issues relating to music, universities, and conservatoires across countries and centuries. Inevitably the field is much wider than one conference can encompass, but at the second conference we are particularly keen to encourage submissions in the areas of music technology, performance, composition, musical theatre, industry practitioners turned academics, and universities outside of Europe and North America.

This conference is organised in association with the Universidade do Minho; City, University of London; and the University of Surrey. »
