« SEM-SP and AMS-SW particularly encourage participation by graduate student presenters, from both within and beyond university musicology and ethnomusicology programs. SEM-SP and AMS-SW welcome co-authored presentations as well as any kind of collaboration, such as faculty / student (undergraduate or graduate) collaborations. Student members of SEM are invited to submit their papers for consideration for the Vida Chenoweth Student Paper Prize. Student members of the AMS-SW chapter should be aware that they may submit their papers to the competition for the Hewitt-Oberdorfer Award. »
