« The 2024 Vagantes Conference on Medieval Studies is thrilled to announce the opening of our Call for Papers. The 2024 conference will take place at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois from March 21st–23rd. Join us for a weekend right outside the vibrant city of Chicago, where you can connect with fellow graduate students and showcase your research!

We invite all current and recent graduate students to submit 300-word abstracts for 20-minute conference papers, performances, and presentations utilizing other media. To submit your proposal, kindly send an abstract, a paper title, and a 1-page CV to vagantesboard -at- gmail.com by December 4th, 2023. See the attached flier for more details. Established in 2002, the Vagantes Conference on Medieval Studies is the longest-running medieval studies conference both for and by graduate students. This year at Northwestern, we have an exciting suite of events confirmed, including a manuscript tour, concert in conjunction with the Newberry Consort, and a theatrical performance. There is much more to come. »
