Appel de conférences pour la « 25th International Conference on Wind Music », International Society for Research and Promotion of Wind Music, Valencia, 10-15 juillet 2024.
« IGEB celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2024 and the main theme of the next international conference is: « 50 years of IGEB (1974-2024). Wind Music Research: Balance and Current Issues ». Wind music is an artistic concern but is not always accompanied by extensive aesthetic and academic reflection. At the same time, questions arise as to the extent to which research influences wind music or whether today’s international context promotes the change processes. Presenters are invited to submit their proposals in the following categories:
- History of IGEB in a multinational dimension
- Wind music research from a historical, social, aesthetic and pedagogical perspective
- Evaluation of the contribution of wind music research to the practice of wind music
- Changes and transformation processes
- Wind music, diversity and gender research »
