« The AMS S-C Chapter is pleased to announce its Spring 2023 meeting (March 17-18, 2023) at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, GA. The conference will by fully hybrid. AMS S-C invites submissions for papers, posters, panel discussions, and performances from all areas of music research. We especially welcome submissions concerning “Music of the South.” Any AMS member is welcome to propose an in-person presentation. In order to reserve time and space on the program for AMS-SC chapter members, only scholars based in the South-Central Chapter region may propose a virtual presentation. »
