« This award recognizes a graduate student who is currently working on a thesis or dissertation on topics related to diversity, equity, inclusion, or accessibility in eighteenth-century music scholarship. These include, but are not limited to, issues of race, gender, sexuality, disability, ethnicity, and other categories that have traditionally been under-examined in eighteenth-century musicology. It carries a monetary award of $500 as well as a one-year membership to SECM. »
