Appel à contributions pour la seconde publication annuelle du site Music & Politics in the Moment sur le thème « Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion ». 

« The editors of this issue are interested in reading about ways that music performers, educators, researchers and composers consider principles of DEI in their musical activities. In particular, we are looking for essays that consider how DEI principles can shape the future of the fields of musicology, ethnomusicology, music theory, music education, music therapy, and performance and concert-programming practices. Possible essay topics could include inclusive teaching practices/activities, diversity-centered course design, projects that challenge traditional hierarchies in or around the ‘canon’, research focused on historically marginalized topics or groups, accessibility, or any other DEI-related topic.

Music & Politics in the Moment is an open-access website led by graduatestudents and designed as an excursus to Music & Politics, but with a  particular emphasis on present-day politics »
