-Fan culture
-Revivals and revisals
-Film and television musicals
-Issues of race and ethnicity on stage or beyond
-Gender and sexuality
-Shows/productions by and about groups currently underrepresented in musical theater scholarship
-Interdisciplinarity (and cross-disciplinarity) of musical theater scholarship, and the advantages and disadvantages of have no single scholarly home
-Intersections between musical theater and opera, and their separate historiography »
