« At our fall meeting, we plan to host a round-table discussion, Researching and Teaching Music History After Covid. We take the phrase “after covid” both in the pragmatic and philosophical sense. Pragmatically, how have changes you made to your music-teaching and musicological research modalities during the era of pandemic restrictions become integrated into your continuing pedagogical and research methods? Philosophically, have the opportunities and challenges occasioned by large-scale discussions about public health and accessibility during the global pandemic informed topics and approaches you have embraced in teaching or research? We invite proposals for 5-minute contributions to the discussion, as well as nominations (including self-nominations) for panel chair. »
