« Welcome to the Second Biennial Symposium of the North American British Music Studies Association. We welcome all who are interested in British Music Studies, considered broadly. The 2023 symposium, Music and Ideas of the Popular, will explore ideas of the popular not only in contemporary British musical practices, but also in historical, contextual, biographical or theoretical contexts as well.
