« Scholars across the musical subdisciplines have increasingly acknowledged the influence of musical learning processes (across a range of traditions, learning stages and formal/informal contexts) on important research questions in our fields. While recognizing the contributions of researchers from Music Education, who predominantly focus on K-12 classroom contexts, we see the need for focused discussion about education-related topics relevant to our disciplines. »
