« To mark the 50th anniversary of Stravinsky’s death, we are hosting a three-day festival at Louisiana State University’s College of Music & Dramatic Arts. The event will celebrate Stravinsky’s music, with a special focus on his life and work in America (1945–1971). A series of concerts will include dance music and performed works, culminating with the performance of ballet Agon with LSU dancers and the renowned Bugallo-Williams Piano Duo. The conference committee is particularly interested in receiving paper proposals on topics related to the theme of “Stravinsky in America.” »
