Appel à contributions de la plateforme Open Access Musicology pour son prochain numéro.
« We invite you to submit an essay to Open Access Musicology, a resource that presents some of the most relevant topics in music in an accessible manner. We’d like to invite you to contribute to the next issue that speaks to the questions and issues that you think are critical for the next generation of students/scholars/musicians/listeners. The field has grown in scope and methods, but thought-provoking articles appropriate for pedagogical use with undergraduate students remain scarce. In short, what essay do you think is needed that you’d want to teach (or that you already teach)?
Essays should be written in a style and at a level appropriate to the undergraduate classroom. OAM essays ensure that cutting-edge research inspires classroom practice, provides diverse and methodologically transparent models for student research, and introduces different modes of inquiry to inspire classroom discussion and varied assignments. Addressing a range of histories, theories, methods, voices, and sounds, OAM embraces changes and tensions in the field to help students understand music scholarship as the product of critical inquiry. (See also our Guidelines for OAM Writers for more details or our website for published essay examples.)
Our peer-review process is double-blind and involves both rigorous scholarly review as well as classroom-based student review. OAM cannot consider essays that have been published elsewhere or are under consideration by another journal. »
