Appel de conférences pour le colloque de l’AMS Ludomusicology Study Group « 8-Bit Chiptunes, Retro-Aesthetics, and Nostalgia », Minneapolis, 6-9 novembre 2025.

« This year, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Nintendo Entertainment System, we will be holding a poster session dedicated to 8-bit chip aesthetics. We are accepting proposals that examine the cultural, historical, and musical significance of 8-bit aesthetics in the era of the NES and beyond. Topics may include, but are not limited to, nostalgia, musical analysis, ethnographic studies, performance and arrangement practice, and technology. »
