Conférence en ligne, « Hidden Figures of Screen Music and Sound », via Zoom, 23-24 juin 2020, co-organisée parDr Lindsay Carter (University of Bristol), Dr Rhys Davies (Royal Holloway) et Dr Jonathan Godsall (Royal Holloway), avec le soutien de la British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies (BAFTSS), le Humanities and Arts Research Institute (HARI), Royal Holloway, University of London, la School of Performing and Digital Arts, Royal Holloway, University of London et la Royal Musical Association (RMA).

« This conference exists to explore and celebrate the work of hidden figures in the production of music and sound for screen media. Whether those individuals are ‘hidden’ in terms of belonging to a community underrepresented in the industry, or because they work in less-visible production and post-production roles, we aim to better recognize their creative input, and to examine why they have often been overlooked and marginalized.

We are delighted to present a programme of twelve paper presentations from scholars based around the world and across disciplines, and also to welcome a panel of industry experts for discussion on their experiences. »
